Faith, Science and the Wonders of Creation

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Victoria is pleased to announce that
Br. Consolmagno will be visiting our Diocese from November 23 – 25, 2017.

We are pleased to host events featuring Br. Guy J. Consolmagno SJ, Ph.D,  the 'Pope’s Astronomer’, as he spends time with us exploring the nature of our understanding of the relationship between faith and science, and how that relationship has changed from the time of Galileo through the current day.

Br. Consolmagno will speak at the Bishop's Distinguished Lecture at the University of Victoria, at the annual Faith Day for Island Catholic Schools and Diocesan staff, and at the Annual Diocesan Conference.

The public is invited to attend the Bishop's Distinguished Lecture, and the afternoon session of the Annual Diocesan Conference. More information on each can be found by clicking the links below.
