The Diocese of Victoria is pleased to announce the second annual Bishop’s Gala, which will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall in Victoria.

Last year, we worked together to raise funds to allow us to begin a journey with our Nuu-chah-nulth brothers and sisters on the West Coast. The success of the 2016 Gala provided to enough funds for us to support the Sisters who are working in Ahousaht by securing temporary accommodation in Port Alberni, and purchasing a vehicle for them to use. This year, we are raising funds to be used towards a residence in Ahousaht, and to help us continue to support this important pastoral mission. The 2017 Bishop’s Gala will celebrate our progress over the past year, and reaffirm our commitment to this initiative. Imagine the possibilities of our combined efforts!

The Gala promises to be an evening of elegance and fun that includes both silent and live auctions. Doors will open at 6 PM; a champagne reception will be followed with a sit-down dinner catered by Island Culinary Services.

Tickets are $100 each and may be purchased individually or in tables of 8. Tax receipts will be issued for $25 per ticket. The EventBrite processing fee is being passed on to purchasers in order to maximize proceeds to West Coast Missions. Book a table for a lower processing fee! Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Bishop’s Gala provides an opportunity for fun and fellowship surrounding the worthy goal of supporting the missionary outreach of our Diocese. Gather together your family and friends for this exciting event!

Tickets are $100 per person; tables of 8 are available. Tax receipts will be issued for $25 per ticket. Tickets are available on EventBrite, or by phoning the Pastoral Centre at (250) 479-1331. If booking a table, a tax receipt will be issued to the person who books the table. If others at your table would like a tax receipt, you'll need to email cdunwoody@rcdvictoria.org with the name, address, phone number and email address for each guest who would like a receipt.

Tickets are limited, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis—gather together your family and friends for this exciting event!
