2017 Annual Diocesan Conference:
Faith, Science, and the Wonders of Creation

The 2017 Annual Diocesan Conference will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at St. Edward's Parish in Duncan, BC.

The day will begin with Mass at 8:45am, celebrated by Bishop Gary Gordon. The afternoon session will feature Br. Guy J. Consolmagno SJ, Ph.D., who is the Director of the Vatican Observatory and President of the Vatican Observatory Foundation. Br. Consolmagno will explore the nature of our understanding of the relationship between faith and science, and how that relationship has changed from the time of Galileo through the current day. This promises to be an 'out of this world' experience!

In a desire to share this day with a larger audience, we are inviting the general public to the afternoon sessions. As a world-class astronomer Bro. Guy will reveal, through words and pictures, marvels that will inspire all—please invite a friend.

There is no cost to attend; registration is required through Eventbrite. You are asked to bring your own lunch; coffee will be provided.
