Celebrating 50 years of the Serra Club
On November 24, 2016, I was privileged to speak at the Serra Club of Kitchener-Waterloo’s 50th Anniversary celebration. I am the National Episcopal Advisor to Serra International in Canada.
Serra International is a non-profit Catholic organization under the patronage of St. Junipero Serra, patron saint of religious vocations. Serra International is comprised of men and women from around the world who pray and work to foster and promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood and consecrated religious life. The Board of the Canada Council is responsible for the promotion of Serra in Canada by assisting clubs in their work of promoting vocations and by encouraging the formation of new clubs. The long-term objective of the Council is to have a Serra club in every diocese in Canada.
It was truly a blessing to be able to share the 50th Anniversary celebrations with the Kitchener-Waterloo Serra Club.
