December 12, 2014, was a day of great joy for the Spanish-speaking community in the Diocese of Victoria, as we gathered to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron of the Americas.
Fr. Benoit provides pastoral care to the small but very vibrant Spanish-speaking community from many countries of Central and South America. Mass was celebrated in Spanish and English, and was followed by a Grand Fiesta at Queen of Peace Church in Esquimalt.
The true gift of our Catholic faith is greatly evident in our Diocese in the beauty of the languages and cultures that all of us use to worship and celebrate our one, holy, and Apostolic faith.
