Hallowed Events

All Hallow’s Eve and All Saints Day marked some great and holy events with some Diocesan ‘Saints in the Making’. October 30, 2014, marked the 122-year anniversary of the dedication of St. Andrew’s Cathedral. The Mass and Reception that followed was made very special by the presence of St. Andrews High School Choir – two classes of students – which joined the Cathedral Choir, directed by Jackie Ray. Hallowe’en Day was full of a little fun at the Pastoral Centre: Sr. Vinda and Sr. Elisa from Cowichan enjoyed a good meeting with the Bishop! I also celebrated weekend Masses at Our Lady of the Rosary, Langford, and had the privilege to confirm three young women there.
