The Diocese of Victoria is looking for a dynamic individual to coordinate the Religious Education program for schools and parishes in the Diocese of Victoria. Applicants should be committed, practicing Catholics, faithful to Church teaching, with a clear understanding of the Catholic faith and with the skills to evangelize and catechize children from K to grade 12 in the joy of the Gospel.

The Director of Religious Education works in conjunction with a Coordinator of Youth and Adult Ministry and is responsible for faith formation programs in six schools and 30 parishes/missions across the Diocese.   Responsibilities include organizing and implementing all aspects of the program including developing curriculum, teacher and catechist training, and parent and children’s sacramental preparation according to the restored order. 

A Master’s Degree in theology/religious education from a Catholic college or university is preferred.  Teaching and administrative experience is an asset.
