Rowing in the rain
Last weekend the St. Andrew’s High School rowing team, under coach Kim Arthurs, impressed the crowd with victory in the junior girls and an impressive 2nd Place overall for seniors and juniors.
Team work, solidarity, and communion win the day in this sport, which began at St. Andrew’s in 1986, producing several national and international Olympic champions.
Rowing is a great way to follow Jesus, who spent a lot of time in boats teaching his disciples about the grace of God and the need for teamwork in the universal call to Holiness.
Well done, team!
