'Secret Santa' benefits the Cridge Centre for the Family
Merry Christmas and Abundant Mercy were celebrated on December 18, 2015, with Pastoral Centre staff playing ‘Secret Santa” and bringing in a haul of gifts for the children at the Cridge Centre for the Family. Staff drew a name from a hat, and then were asked to imagine the person they were buying for as they might have been at six years old, and purchase a toy they thought ‘young-them’ would have liked. Great hilarity ensued: we seem to know ‘little us’ quite well!
All toys were then immediately donated. Marlene Goley, Manager of Women’s and Family Services at the Cridge Centre, was on hand to take the gifts to families who need a little extra help this Christmas.
