The Catholic Students' Association

The Catholic Students’ Association is a community of young adults growing in and sharing their faith in the years between high school and “the real world” (and for some, even in the years beyond). Between research papers, exams, science labs, and part-time jobs, we find time to gather together for mass, retreats, praise and worship, spiritual direction, faith studies, potlucks, movie nights, etc. We are made up of students, mainly from the University of Victoria and Camosun College, as well as student-aged men and women, not just from Victoria, but from all around the world. Not only that, but we come from various faith backgrounds. Some come from small towns lacking a community of Catholics our own age, others from strong Catholic families and thriving high school youth groups, and others come newly baptised from years of searching for a faith to call their own. But what we all have in common is a love for God, and a need to live out our faith amidst the million other things in our lives.

Whether you’re planning on jumping head first into university with six classes per semester, or taking a year off to earn money for school, the CSA is here to keep you grounded and provide a social network of likeminded people to spend your free time with.

If you have any questions, or want to get involved, e-mail us at, find our page on Facebook: Catholic Students’ Association – UVic, or just show up at our 4:00 pm Sunday mass at Holy Cross Parish on Gordon Head Road.
