Christopher Ryzuk
St. Andrew's Cathedral, Victoria

Christopher Ryzuk was born in Edmonton and arrived in Victoria in 1979. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish before moving to St. Andrew’s Cathedral.

Chris is the founder of CN Ryzuk and Associates, the company that provides geotechnical engineering services to the Greater Victoria/Southern Vancouver Island/Gulf Islands areas. As an active member of the Cathedral parish, Chris has offered and applied his engineering and project management experience to many of the building projects undertaken at the Cathedral including the creation of the Columbarium, the renovation of the Seghers’ Hall and basement, roof repairs, restoration of the masonry work on the Cathedral exterior, restoration of the stained glass windows, and is now working on the new rectory renovation of the Parish Centre.

Chris also assists in the Soup Kitchen at the Seghers’ Hall, is a member of the Diocesan Building Commission and the Columbarium Committee, and continues to share his considerable knowledge and experience to preserve and enhance both the Cathedral and Parish Centre buildings.
