The Catholic Diocese of Victoria comprises the whole of Vancouver Island, the islands off the west coast and the islands to the west of the main shipping channel up the Inside Passage, an area of approximately 95,000 square kilometers. The Diocese of Victoria ministers to approximately 94,000 Catholics on Vancouver Island.
