Denise Buckley
Christ the King Parish, Comox Valley

Denise has been active in the parish for 30 years, nine of which were as the parish secretary. Upon her retirement, her varied church activities continued and included teaching RCIA Classes, teaching various other courses for 20 years as the Adult Education Coordinator, attending and leading the Morning Prayer Group, attending daily Mass, was a member of Pastoral Council, served as coordinator for Lectors, facilitated workshops and wrote many of the ministry handbooks, facilitated many pilgrimages for parishioners throughout the Diocese, was an integral member of the Christ the King building committee, and assisted with the Diocesan Marriage Tribunal interviews.

Denise and her husband Bob have been members of Christ the King Parish for 31 years. Denise Buckley continues to live and practice her faith with passion.
