Harry Ray
Diocese of Victoria

Harry graduated from St. Louis College where he was a member of the Columbian Squires. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC where he resided at St. Mark College. He was active in the Newman Club at UVIC and UBC, and nationally as its Vice-President. Harry has served St. Andrew’s Cathedral for 60 years as a liturgical server, Treasurer for St. Andrew's School, and as Chair of St. Andrew's Cathedral’s Finance Committee. He has assisted with many celebrations for the Sisters of St. Ann and the Poor Clare Sisters, and has helped train Liturgical servers, presented Liturgical workshops in the Diocese, and represented the Diocese at Regional and National Liturgical Conferences.

As Chair of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, he was a delegate and presenter at the Diocesan Synod. In collaboration with Bishop Ray Roussin, he prepared the book "Twelve Teachings on the Eucharist" (2002-2003) which was reprinted in all the parishes at the time. Keen on ecumenism, Harry is a on the Planning Committee for the Prayer In the Style of Taizé, sponsored by the Downtown Churches Association of Victoria.
