Larry & Maureen Dietrich
Sacred Heart Parish, Victoria

Larry and Maureen Dietrich have been active parishioners at Sacred Heart for many years. They have been involved in the St. Vincent de Paul Society since 1976. Larry headed the Conference in 1984 and from 1999 to 2001. Maureen headed the Conference from September 1993 to April1996, from January 2003 to April 2007, and from May 2014 to the present. Both continue to be active in the Conference.

Larry and Maureen have also been actively involved with the Annual Parish Bazaar for many years. They regularly serve on the Parish Liturgical ministries as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and as Lectors.

With the then Pastor, Fr. Guy Merveille, from 1976 until 1979, they prepared for and welcomed the Vietnamese boat people, providing accommodation to some until 1982. Larry and Maureen have also been long-time supporters of the Refugee Program in the Parish. They have continued to provide assistance over the years to welcome refugee families right through to the present day.
