Pauline Scherr
St. Patrick's Parish, Oak Bay

Pauline, a longtime parishioner of St. Patrick’s, has supported different causes and many community efforts over the years. She has volunteered in many areas within the school and parish communities including summer camps, the funeral choir, the Moms & Tots group, assisted in the needs of the rectory kitchen and linens on behalf of the CWL, and as Chair of the Liturgical Environment Committee for the past five years.

For 20 years, Pauline has served (on and off) as CWL president at the Parish, and in leadership roles at the Diocesan level as well. Pauline was Chair of the St. Patrick’s Pastoral Council, and has hosted membership teas in her home for the CWL. She has helped with funeral receptions, and will always be one of the first to volunteer for major parish gatherings. Pauline has always shown compassion through a ready, listening ear for anyone; making her approachable and a favorite with her family, and the parish community.
