Perlita Pamaran
St. Patrick's Parish, Oak Bay

Born in the Philippines, Perlita has been actively involved with the parish for the past 35 years in over 15 parish ministries. She constantly demonstrates a love for people through her actions and service, and has always been one of the first people in the parish to connect with someone new, inviting them to serve in one of the parish ministries.

Within the parish, Perlita has served with St. Vincent de Paul and Mount St. Mary Hospital as a volunteer and a financial contributor. She has also served in Pastoral Care, as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, as a Parish counter, choir member, Funeral Reception server, Altar linen support and candle replenishment, with the CCD and Sacramental Preparation, she has led a gentle exercise program, and Rosary devotions. Perlita was the Catholic Women's League Treasurer, served at the parish’s Bazaar, organized, and has led yearly August pilgrimages to the Poor Clare’s in Duncan for their Feast Day.

Perlita was a St. Patrick’s summer camp volunteer, has helped to cook and serve at St. Clare Villa dinners, was a member of the Hospitality Committee, is a member of Development and Peace, was a Birthright Volunteer, and continues to be a volunteer with the Parish Refugee Committee.
