Planned Giving

A gift of love ... a living faith

Committed, active and faithful people provide leadership, ministry and support for the activities and missions of the Diocese of Victoria. We give generously of our time, talents and treasure to do God’s work in many ways, making a difference in the lives of people whom we love and serve in faith and compassion.

We can make a difference for future generations, through thoughtful attention to stewardship. We share the privilege of continuing our service for Jesus, building on the mission work entrusted to us by God. We are missionary-disciples living our faith, acting with hope and vision.

The responsibilities and works of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Victoria are many and varied. In caring for the People of God, we provide pastoral outreach to the sick and dying; training and education opportunities for children, youth and adults; and professional development for clergy and laity. We help individuals and families from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures and endeavor to hold up those who are tired, lost or lonely; we also celebrate joy and declare our support for life.

By supporting our Planned Giving Program, you can creatively ensure that we continue to grow, to respond to current needs and plan for the future of our children and generations to come. Our Program provides many different opportunities for expressions of generosity and committed contribution, helping to ensure our continued vitality.

We encourage you to make a Will, and to consider Planned Giving as a part of your final wishes. We hope that this Guide will help you to understand various donation options and encourage you prayerfully consider sharing God’s generosity and treasures with a gift of love, a legacy of living faith.

In Communion,

Most Reverend Gary Gordon
Bishop of Victoria
