Canadian Bioethics Institute announces release of fourth series of videos

The Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute is pleased to announce the release of its fourth series of videos for the Catholic Bioethics Moments YouTube channel. Fundamental Moral Theology examines Cooperation in a Moral Evil 1, including Formal and Immediate Material Cooperation; Cooperation in a Moral Evil 2, which focuses on Mediate Material Cooperation; Natural Law; and When Does a Human Person Come into Existence.  The videos in this series will be of interest to anyone wanting to know more about basic concepts in Catholic morality.

Previous Catholic Bioethics Moments releases include:

  • Series One, “Ethical Issues at the End of Life 1” which examines Death; Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide; Forgoing Treatment; and the Principle of Double Effect. A French version of this series, “Questions éthiques en fin de vie” is also available.
  • Series Two, “Ethical Issues at the End of Life 2” which explores Organ Donation after Death; Pain Relief at the End of Life; Palliative Care; and Conscience. A French version of the series, “Enjeux éthiques de fin de vie 2” is also available.
  • Series Three, “Matters of Conscience” which includes Decisions of Conscience, Conscientious Objection, and Intrinsic Evil. The French translation of the series is currently in progress.
