This Advent season, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) is sharing a weekly online video series to help the faithful prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas. Titled "Journey Through Advent," this initiative is a collaboration of the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis, the National Liturgy Office, and the Office national de liturgie.
Led by the Most Reverend Frank Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto, and the Most Reverend René Guay, Bishop of Chicoutimi, these reflections delve into the Gospel readings of each Advent Sunday, offering spiritual and pastoral insights to enrich your journey.
The videos will be shared one at a time on a weekly basis throughout Advent and will be available on the CCCB website each Monday in advance of the upcoming Sunday Eucharistic Celebration (25 November, 2 December, 9 December, and 16 December).
Each week's Advent reflection will also be shared on the CCCB's YouTube channel.
