The Diocesan Archives is the official repository for the records and artifacts which have historical, cultural, and/or leadership/long term significance to the Diocese in the pursuit of its mission of evangelization. The Archives of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Victoria collects, preserves, conserves, and makes available, as appropriate, those records or materials which reflect the history and tradition of the Church in the Diocese from its beginning in 1846.Theresa Vogel serves as Manager of the Diocesan Archives.

REQUEST INFORMATION  

Prior to submitting a request for information, please review the Archives Policy concerning records searches, history searches, and material loans, and complete the forms attached to the Policy. All requests must be submitted in writing to the Manager of the Archives.

VOLUNTEER  

Do you have an interest in the fascinating spiritual and secular history of the Diocese? Please contact the Manager of Archives for further information, and to receive an earnest 'pitch' to join the current volunteer corps. All volunteers will be expected to subscribe to, and accept, current Diocesan policy concerning Responsible Ministry and Safe Environment guidelines for volunteers.
