Every year, from January 18 to January 25, Christians around the world come together to observe the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (WPCU), a beautiful and transformative occasion where believers from different traditions unite in prayer and reflection.

The theme for the 2026 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a powerful one: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling” (Ephesians 4:4). The theme this year exemplifies the divine unity that is central to our mission and is sustained by the profound love of Jesus Christ, who has set before us a unified purpose. For this year, the prayers and reflections for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity have been prepared by the faithful of the Armenian Apostolic Church, along with their brothers and sisters of the Armenian Catholic and Evangelical Churches.

This theme invites us to dive deep into our shared faith, especially the hope and joy found in the resurrection, which is a central message of Christianity.

All over the world, Christians are invited to reflect on Christ’s resurrection, not just as an event that happened long ago, but as the foundation of a living hope that we are called to share with all people. The resurrection is the source of our hope and joy—and it’s something to be lived out together, with one voice.
