1) During this month of October dedicated to Mary, at a time when there continues to be so much violence between peoples and nations in the Middle East and elsewhere, the President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops invites all Catholics in Canada to take up Pope Francis’ invitation to pray and fast for peace. 2) The Canadian branch of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association is launching a campaign to raise funds for families displaced by the escalating conflict in Lebanon. For more information, and to donate, please visit https://cnewa.org/ca/
