With the departure of current Principal, Mr. Boucher, at the end of this school year, we welcome the new Principal of St. Andrew's Regional High School who takes over in the Fall.

Effective August 1, 2020, the next Principal for St. Andrew’s Regional High School is Mr. Glen Palahicky.

We know Glen as the Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization for the Diocese. Glen is also an experienced teacher and administrator. His formal education includes a Masters of Education, Bachelor of Arts, Franciscan Seminary Formation, and an Electrical Trade License. Glen began his education career teaching Humanities and Religious Education to grades 8-12 students in the Bahamas. Upon his return to Canada and settling in Terrace with his family, he taught grades 4 and 7 before becoming a principal. Glen brings eleven years of experience of being a Catholic School principal at two different schools within two different provinces.

During the last six years, as Director of Faith Formation and Evangelization, Glen has largely focused on adult and student faith education. As Principal, Glen has stated that he will continue the mission of St. Andrews: "To Build in Love" in a spirit of faith, joy, and gratitude.

We congratulate and welcome Glen into his new role as Principal of St. Andrew’s Regional High School.

We also express our gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Steven Boucher for his leadership of the high school these past two years, and wish him well and success as he embarks on his doctoral journey.
