Sep 27, 2019 12:25:22 PM

From Saturday, October 26 to Sunday, November 3, two first-class and precious relics of the Portuguese-born saint, Saint Anthony of Padua, will tour major regions of the Diocese from Port Hardy to Victoria. Father Mario Conte OFM will bring the holy relics from the saint’s Basilica in Padua, Italy.

The relics will visit 15 churches in the Diocese of Victoria, and children from five Catholic Schools will also have the opportunity to venerate the relics of a beloved saint and Doctor of the Church.

Fr. Mario Conte OFM will bring the relics from Northern Italy to North America. One reliquary contains the fragment of the saint's floating rib, and the other reliquary contains skin of the saint's face, from his cheek.
Fr. Conte will be accompanied by Tom Muscatello, North American Representative, during the tour.
