Daily Mass on TV and Online Resources

Mar 20, 2020 4:30:20 PM

As we are called to practice self-isolation and social distancing, and spend more time at home, arrangements have been made for easier access to televised Mass and online Resources for the Catholic community in Canada. Through these challenging times lie opportunities for hope, renewal, and rebirth as we journey through Lent toward Easter.

Let us remember during this time of isolation, not to be isolated, and to be mindful of those in our community who may welcome a friendly phone call, text, email, or visual-call. This is a global phenomenon that brings with it the opportunity to renew our connections with loved ones, family, friends, and acquaintances who may not have anyone to turn to during this time. We have the opportunity to join with the wider Catholic community as a Church in Canada, and through the Catholic media, to pray for healing and grace for the whole world.

As we gather around our television sets and electronic media, may we also be conscious that through our shared experience of watching the same televised Mass or online programming, we are also connected instantaneously as one national and global community. Together then, may we trust in God's divine providence and continue to pray as one loving heart for those in need of comfort and hope.
