Some good news to share from the Views at St. Joseph’s in the Comox Valley!
The Views at St. Joseph’s, a non-profit Catholic health care organization, was previously owned and operated by the Bishop of Victoria and is now operated by Providence Living. Bishop Gordon serves as a founding member of the Society. The Views, inspired by the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, is dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those served through compassionate care, teaching and research. The Views is committed to maintaining an elder-centered community fostering companionship and opportunities for spontaneous interactions.
The Views was featured in a recent news story (links below) that highlighted the healing power of pets (Merlin would agree)!

Jane Murphy, President and CEO, previously served as President and CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital from 2011 to 2017. During Jane’s tenure she led the organization through major transitions and will continue to do so at the Views at St. Joseph’s, as the Providence Living facility will build one of the provinces first dementia villages and is expected to open in 2024.
In the midst of a global pandemic, we welcome some good news in Catholic health care as we look to the future with hope.
