Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
On June 12, 2026, the plenary assembly of the Diocesan Permanent Pastoral Synod (DPPS) gathered and discussed what they heard from many in the Diocese in the last 6 moths about “How” to bring the Good News.
Emerging from listening to those Conversations in the Spirit in the last six months and Conversations in the Spirit during the plenary, Belonging & Connection surfaced as the vital experience for people to receive the Good News. As you read the Spring Plenary report you will find beautiful insights about these themes that will surely support our community in becoming a more listening church.
I am truly grateful to the DPPS listening facilitators and pastors for their commitment and dedication in facilitating Conversations in the Spirit. I also want to express much gratitude to the DPPS Leadership Team for their time and thought in preparing our Spring Plenary and for coaching the facilitators.
